Instructions
Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
In a shallow bowl, mix panko breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
In another bowl, whisk the eggs with water to create an egg wash.
Dip each chicken tender into the egg wash, then coat evenly with the breadcrumb mixture.
Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Place the coated tenders in the basket in a single layer, ensuring they don’t overlap.
Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the tenders are golden brown and reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
Chef's Tips
- Even Coating: Press the breadcrumb mixture firmly onto the chicken to ensure an even and crispy coating.
- Avoid Overcrowding: Cook in batches if necessary to prevent the tenders from sticking together and ensure even cooking.
- Extra Crispy: For extra crispiness, lightly spray the coated tenders with cooking spray before air frying.
- Storage: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the air fryer for best results.
- Variations: Try adding different seasonings like cayenne pepper for a spicy kick or Italian seasoning for extra flavor.
