Chef's Tips
- Customize It: Use whatever leftovers you have on hand. This recipe is very versatile and works with almost any combination of meat and vegetables.
- Add Some Crunch: For extra texture, add some chopped nuts or crispy fried onions on top before baking.
- Make It Creamy: If your leftovers are a bit dry, add a can of cream of mushroom or chicken soup to the mixture before baking.
- Spice It Up: Add some hot sauce, chili flakes, or your favorite spices to give the casserole a kick.
- Freeze for Later: This casserole freezes well. Just wrap it tightly and store it in the freezer for up to 3 months.
