Instructions

1

Marinate the beef: In a bowl, mix the beef slices with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch. Let it sit for 10 minutes.

2

Heat the oil: In a large wok or skillet, heat 1 tbsp of vegetable oil over high heat.

3

Cook the beef: Add the marinated beef and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.

4

Stir-fry vegetables: In the same wok, add the remaining oil. Sauté garlic and ginger for 30 seconds, then add bell pepper, carrot, and broccoli. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes.

5

Combine: Return the beef to the wok. Pour in beef broth and stir-fry for another 2 minutes until the sauce thickens.

6

Finish: Drizzle with sesame oil and garnish with green onions. Serve hot over rice.

Chef's Tips

  • High heat is key: Stir-frying requires high heat to cook quickly and retain crispiness.
  • Prep ahead: Chop all ingredients before starting to cook for a smooth process.
  • Substitute proteins: Use chicken, shrimp, or tofu instead of beef.
  • Sauce thickness: Adjust cornstarch for a thicker or thinner sauce.
  • Leftovers: Store in an airtight container for up to 2 days. Reheat in a pan.
