Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning (or homemade blend)
- 8 small corn tortillas
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 diced tomato
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- 1 lime, cut into wedges
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup salsa
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil

Instructions
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it into small pieces with a spatula.
Drain excess fat from the beef, then add the taco seasoning and 1/4 cup of water. Stir well and simmer for 5 minutes until the mixture thickens.
While the beef cooks, warm the tortillas. Heat a separate skillet over medium heat, add a little oil, and lightly toast each tortilla for about 30 seconds per side. Keep them warm in a towel.
Prepare the toppings: Shred the lettuce, dice the tomato and onion, chop the cilantro, and set aside with cheese, sour cream, and salsa.
Assemble the tacos: Spoon the beef mixture onto each tortilla, then top with lettuce, tomato, onion, cheese, cilantro, and a drizzle of sour cream and salsa.
Serve immediately with lime wedges on the side for squeezing over the tacos.

- Homemade Seasoning: Mix 1 tbsp chili powder, 1 tsp cumin, 1 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp onion powder, 1/2 tsp paprika, and 1/2 tsp salt for a fresher taste.
