- 2 cups frozen edamame in pods
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 1 cup water

Prepare the edamame: If using frozen edamame, there’s no need to thaw. Simply rinse the pods under cold water to remove any ice crystals.
Boil water: In a medium pot, bring 1 cup of water to a boil over high heat.
Steam the edamame: Place a steamer basket in the pot. Add the edamame pods to the steamer, cover, and steam for 5-7 minutes until tender.
Drain and season: Remove the edamame from the steamer and transfer to a bowl. While still warm, sprinkle with sea salt and toss gently to coat.
Serve: Transfer the seasoned edamame to a serving dish. Serve warm or at room temperature.
Enjoy: To eat, squeeze the pods to release the beans directly into your mouth. Discard the pods.
