Instructions
Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, water, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt until smooth.
Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter, shaking off any excess, and place them in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
Air fry for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the cauliflower is crispy and golden.
In a separate bowl, mix the buffalo sauce and melted butter (or olive oil). Toss the cooked cauliflower in the sauce until evenly coated.
Return the coated cauliflower to the air fryer and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes to crisp up the sauce.
Serve hot with ranch or blue cheese dressing and celery sticks.
Chef's Tips
- For extra crispiness, lightly spray the battered cauliflower with cooking oil before air frying.
- Adjust the amount of buffalo sauce to your preferred spice level.
- Use gluten-free flour if you need a gluten-free version.
- If you don’t have an air fryer, you can bake these in the oven at 425°F (220°C) for 20-25 minutes.
- For a vegan version, skip the butter and use olive oil instead.
