Instructions
Preheat a skillet or griddle over medium-high heat.
In a bowl, mix the ground beef with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder until well combined.
Divide the beef mixture into 12 equal portions and shape them into small patties, slightly larger than the slider buns (they will shrink when cooking).
Cook the patties for about 3-4 minutes per side, or until they reach your desired doneness. Add a half-slice of cheese to each patty during the last minute of cooking.
While the patties cook, lightly brush the insides of the slider buns with melted butter and toast them on the griddle or in a toaster until golden.
Assemble the sliders by placing a cheesy patty on the bottom half of each bun. Add your favorite toppings, then cover with the top bun. Serve warm.
Chef's Tips
- Meat Tip: For extra juiciness, avoid overworking the beef when forming the patties.
- Cheese Options: Swap cheddar for American, Swiss, or pepper jack cheese for different flavors.
- Bun Tip: Use Hawaiian rolls for a slightly sweet and soft slider experience.
- Make Ahead: Prepare the patties in advance and refrigerate until ready to cook.
- Serving Suggestion: Serve with a side of crispy fries or a fresh salad.
