Instructions
Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
In a large bowl, toss the cauliflower florets with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using).
Spread the cauliflower evenly on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer. Avoid overcrowding to ensure crispiness.
Roast in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, stirring halfway through to ensure even cooking.
Remove from the oven and sprinkle with grated parmesan cheese and dried thyme. Return to the oven for another 5 minutes or until the cheese is melted and golden.
Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving. Enjoy hot as a side dish or a healthy snack.
Chef's Tips
- Even Cooking: Cut the cauliflower into evenly sized florets to ensure they roast uniformly.
- Extra Crispy: For crispier results, roast at a higher temperature (450°F) for the last 5 minutes.
- Cheese Variations: Try adding a mix of parmesan and cheddar for extra flavor.
- Spice It Up: Add a pinch of smoked paprika or cayenne for a smoky or spicy kick.
- Storage: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven or air fryer to maintain crispiness.
