Instructions
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with olive oil.
Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel to ensure crispy skin. Place them skin-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
Drizzle olive oil over the salmon fillets. Season with salt, black pepper, and dried dill. Rub the seasoning evenly over the fillets.
Sprinkle minced garlic over the salmon. Place lemon slices on top of each fillet for added flavor.
Roast in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
Remove from the oven and garnish with freshly chopped parsley. Serve immediately with additional lemon wedges if desired.
Chef's Tips
- Crispy Skin Tip: Ensure the salmon skin is completely dry before seasoning. You can even leave it uncovered in the fridge for 30 minutes to dry out the skin further.
- Herb Variations: Feel free to use other herbs like thyme, rosemary, or tarragon based on your preference.
- Lemon Substitute: If you don’t have fresh lemon, a splash of white wine or vinegar works well for acidity.
- Leftovers: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days. Reheat gently to avoid overcooking.
- Sides: Pair with roasted vegetables, quinoa, or a fresh green salad for a complete meal.
