Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a baking dish large enough to hold all the sliders.
Slice the slider buns in half horizontally, keeping them attached if possible. Place the bottom half in the baking dish.
Layer the ham slices evenly over the bottom half of the buns, followed by the Swiss cheese slices.
Place the top half of the buns over the cheese and ham layers.
In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder. Brush this mixture evenly over the tops of the buns.
Sprinkle the poppy seeds over the top. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil.
Bake for 15 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes until the tops are golden and the cheese is melted.
Let the sliders cool for a few minutes before serving. Cut into individual sliders if needed.
Chef's Tips
- Cheese Variations: Try using cheddar, provolone, or mozzarella instead of Swiss for a different flavor.
- Make Ahead: Assemble the sliders a few hours ahead and refrigerate until ready to bake.
- Extra Flavor: Add a layer of honey mustard or mayonnaise on the buns before adding the ham and cheese.
- Crispy Topping: For extra crispiness, broil the sliders for 1-2 minutes after baking.
- Serving Suggestion: Serve with pickles or a side of potato chips for a complete meal.
