Instructions
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
In a shallow bowl, mix together parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, minced garlic, parsley, salt, pepper, and paprika.
Dip each chicken breast in melted butter, ensuring it's fully coated, then press into the parmesan mixture to coat both sides evenly.
Place coated chicken breasts on the prepared baking sheet. Drizzle any remaining butter over the top.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through (internal temperature reaches 165°F/74°C) and coating is golden brown.
Let rest for 5 minutes before serving to allow juices to redistribute.
Chef's Tips
- For extra crispiness, broil for the last 2-3 minutes of cooking (watch carefully to prevent burning).
- Use freshly grated parmesan for best flavor and texture.
- Pound chicken breasts to even thickness for uniform cooking.
- Serve with lemon wedges for a bright, fresh flavor contrast.
- Pair with roasted vegetables or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
- Leftovers make excellent chicken sandwiches the next day.
