In a medium bowl, pour the boiling water and sprinkle the gelatin over it. Stir until the gelatin is completely dissolved.
2
Add the cold water and lemon juice to the gelatin mixture. Stir well to combine.
3
Gently pour in the champagne and stir lightly to avoid losing too much carbonation.
4
Carefully pour the mixture into small shot glasses or silicone molds, filling them about 3/4 full.
5
Place the jello shots in the refrigerator and let them set for at least 4 hours, or until firm.
6
Before serving, garnish with fresh berries if desired. Serve chilled and enjoy!
Chef's Tips
- Champagne Choice: Use a dry or semi-dry champagne for the best flavor balance.
- Gelatin Alternatives: You can use unflavored gelatin and add fruit juice for a custom flavor.
- Quick Setting: For faster setting, place the jello shots in the freezer for about 1 hour (but don’t let them freeze).
- Presentation: Use elegant glassware or edible gold leaf for a luxurious touch.
- Non-Alcoholic Version: Replace champagne with sparkling grape juice for a kid-friendly option.
