- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 bag (32 oz) frozen tater tots
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
In a large skillet, cook the ground beef and diced onion over medium heat until the beef is browned and the onion is soft. Drain any excess fat.
Stir in the condensed cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes until heated through.
Spread the beef mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle half of the shredded cheddar cheese over the top.
Arrange the frozen tater tots in a single layer over the beef and cheese mixture.
Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes. Remove from the oven and sprinkle the remaining cheese on top. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Let the casserole cool for 5 minutes before serving.
