Instructions
Remove the steaks from the refrigerator and let them sit at room temperature for 30 minutes to ensure even cooking.
Preheat the grill to high heat (around 450-500°F). Clean the grates and lightly oil them to prevent sticking.
Pat the steaks dry with paper towels. Rub them with olive oil, then season generously with salt and black pepper on both sides.
Place the steaks on the grill and cook for 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare, or adjust time based on desired doneness.
During the last minute of cooking, add minced garlic, rosemary, and a pat of butter on top of each steak for extra flavor.
Remove the steaks from the grill and let them rest for 5 minutes before slicing to retain juices.
Chef's Tips
- Meat Quality: Choose well-marbled steaks for the best flavor and tenderness.
- Doneness Check: Use a meat thermometer to check internal temperature (130°F for medium-rare, 140°F for medium).
- Resting Time: Always let the steak rest after grilling to allow juices to redistribute.
- Searing Tip: Avoid moving the steak too much while grilling to get a perfect sear.
- Serving Suggestion: Pair with grilled vegetables or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
