Rinse the cranberries under cold water and drain well. Pick out any stems or soft berries.
Zest the orange and set aside. Then, juice the orange to get about 1/4 cup of fresh juice.
In a food processor, combine the cranberries, orange zest, and orange juice. Pulse until the cranberries are finely chopped but not pureed.
Transfer the mixture to a bowl and stir in the sugar, honey, cinnamon, and cloves. Mix well until the sugar begins to dissolve.
Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight, to allow the flavors to meld together.
Before serving, give the relish a good stir and adjust sweetness if needed by adding more honey or sugar.
