Instructions
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface into a large rectangle, about 12x16 inches.
Spread marinara sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a 1-inch border around the edges.
Layer the provolone cheese slices over the sauce, followed by the pepperoni, ham, salami, bell peppers, and mushrooms.
Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning over the fillings.
Carefully roll the dough tightly from the long side, sealing the edges by pinching the dough together.
Place the stromboli seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the top with olive oil and egg wash.
Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown. Let it cool for 5 minutes before slicing.
Chef's Tips
- Dough Tips: Let the dough rest at room temperature for 30 minutes before rolling for easier handling.
- Filling Variations: Customize with your favorite meats, cheeses, or vegetables like spinach or olives.
- Sealing: Ensure the edges are well-sealed to prevent fillings from leaking during baking.
- Serving: Serve with extra marinara sauce for dipping.
- Storage: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven for best results.
